Today, was your last real day of high school and regular classes. Now think about that for a moment... you will no longer be a high school student after May 28th, you will be a high school graduate.

I've slightly teared up today, but I know I still have to take a few exams, and I'll see my friends around school for a little while longer. But tomorrow is the senior Cedar Point trip, and then exams and then graduation. Then I'm done. ...I'M DONE. I remember sitting in the back seat of our car one night when I was little, and we were driving somewhere and I was angry at my family as usual. I counted on my fingers how many years until I turned 18, and here I am. 18 years old... about to leave high school.
Wow. Just wow. Unbelievable... unreal... weird... sad... scary... exciting?
THIS JUST SEEMS SO SUDDEN, y'know? I don't know what to think. I'd like to stay around longer to get to know the people I met this year and last year... make friendships stronger, blossom as a person, etc. But I'm leaving, man, and there 'ain't no going back. :T
I am so proud of what I have accomplished. Period. Receiving a plaque in choir, completing Anatomy & Physiology, making new friends... Regarding my classes, or the social "risks" I took, I'm just proud. Am I satisfied? Not completely.
I wish I stuck it out since freshman year; worked my a** off to get one of those 4.5 GPAs and senior awards and whatnot. But I didn't. I also wished I did more 'senior-like' things this year, too. Like senior parade with my Azumanga Daioh cat mascot, (uggh d'ya see that Gumby b*****d on skates today?? jealooouuusss), and senior stampede, although I didn't advocate the whole trashing the halls thing. But oh gawd... the regrets.

Be happy Luana. This chapter of your life is ending, but a WHOLE NEW chapter is just opening up. You're still young, and you have the drive and the aspirations to write whatever kind of chapter you choose!!!
(Don't forget to make you Senior Playlist before you leave for Cedar Point!!! (bring a coat, it's prolly gonna rain. And go up to the school's roof one last time, but with your camera!)
