Every girl has fairytale dreams
Where things are better than it seems
But it's always something kind of unreal
Something they wish they could feel
As for me, I say goodbye
To white horses and brave knights
Who fight dragons on a mountain high
And rescue damsels with all their might
These dreams are foolish and fickle
And yet, I have them too, you see
Along with goosebumps that prickle
And the thought of a handsome prince to woo me
But give me no true prince
Or a knight to fight trouble and toil
No, I've found my knight
A geek in tin foil
One who slays
Waterhose dragons in the field
And will protect me
With cardboard sword and shield.
