Planet Description: Sommos is a small planet. The ground is white, but not from snow. Their dirt, so to speak, is the color of snow, and their foliage ranges from whites to blues, and sometimes black. Much like the season of fall, their climate is moderate, never hot but never cold. Practically all year their temperature is moderate. They have two months of actual cold, but because of the normal species that resides on the planet, the cold rarely drops below the forty degree mark.

King/Queen: King Sokkos and Queen Mirimi
Humanoid Species: Cosmos – Defined as being blue skinned people (ranging from light blue to a darker blue), with blue markings that run along the body (usually the opposite shade of the skin tone). They have blue or white eyes. Two sets of wings, one on their back, which allows slight flight, and one set near their ears. The “head-wings”, as they are called, have been known to show the emotion of the Cosmos much like ears do on animalistic creatures. Their hair is usually shades of blue, but in rare cases have been known to be white. The names given to the Cosmos are usually a combination of three letters, such as Massa, Mirimi, Eevie, ect.
** Note: Despite features of the Cosmos passing down in future generations, none of them will be fully cosmos, unless they have every single part of the explanation above. But they all will be part Cosmos, even if it's just one feature.
The Gods: Much like the constellations we know today, the Gods are the “first” stars created, and usually reside in the constellations. Such as Regulus, the star that resides in Leo. He is the God of War for the Cosmos, and aids them when a fight is needed. Or Sharatan, the Goddess of Love and Marriage. There are many more Gods out there.
The Stars: It’s been known that each time a new Cosmos is born, a star is formed somewhere in the space. That star will stay in creation and burn brightly up until the Cosmos dies, in which case the star also burns out from natural causes.
The Culture: Cosmos are a people that are very, as many would say, proper. They usually do not use words such as “don’t” or “can’t” and instead make them the longer forms, such as “do not” and “cannot”. They wear silks, most colored in blues and whites. On occasion there will be other material used. They believe in dances and song, using that as their primary source of entertainment, but it is usually classical sounding things. Their jewelry is usually made from “star bits”, which are bits of stars that have fallen off the major stars, or from space “junk”, which they craft to turn into something beautiful. They are vegetarians, as the only other creatures on their planet are seen as “pets” and not as game. The plants they eat give them the substance they need to live, and resemble things found on Earth. The people do love having each other close. They are very close to each other, and often will just pass a hand by another person’s arm or hand to show that they are there, and give a sort of comfort that they are not alone.
Other Species: There are only two other known species on the Sommos Planet. The first is called the Star Dragons (if you look up Fallen Wish Item on Gaia Online, that is what they look like). The creatures are given as eggs to newborns the day after they are born, and they grow and mature with the Cosmos they are given too, making them protectors and helpers in everyday lives. The other species is called Cecil (look up Cecil on Gaia Online, and that is what they look like). Cecil’s are more for the wealthy and high class society. They are small, fuzzy creatures that the Cosmos care for and use sort of like dogs or cats from Earth.

Cosmic Connection: The Cosmic Connection is a very in depth thing. Every Cosmos has it. As the Cosmos is born, somewhere in the expansions of space, another person is created, whether it be at the same time, or years and years later (like is Massa and Ra’s case, where Ra was created over a thousand years later). This connection is something that happens instantly when the Cosmos sees the other person. They instantly know that that specific person is meant for them, and only them. Basically, they know that the person will be the love of their life for the rest of their life. After this connection is formed, the Cosmos usually will feel lost and alone, even when in a crowd of people, if their intended is not with them. They always have a need for them, almost like their need to breath to survive. It’s complex, and yet very simple at the same time.
** Note: If the Cosmos blood is lessened by marriage, the Cosmic Connection will still take effect. But, it will not be as strong as it is with a pure blood Cosmos. Basically, the “connection” will take longer to take effect, but it will still happen, just later.
Marriage Ceremony: Much like the Earth’s “classic” ceremony people see in movies and on TV, the Cosmos have a ceremony that they follow by code. It starts with a week of separation, with the couple not allowed to be near each other, not even in the same home, for a week. After that, they get ready in silks, women wearing dresses that are the colors of blues and whites, very light and soft. The male wearing a sleeveless silk suit, which is darker colors, with hints of the lighter that the female wears. The ceremony is only allowed to have their family, with no other people in the room, as it’s such a personal thing to have, that they will not allow friends in the room. The couple walk toward the alter from opposite sides, meeting in the middle, where both their parents leave them and sit in seats at the front of the room. The King and Queen hold the ceremony. Unlike in traditional Earth weddings, the couple both have their own vows, but they do not practice them. They speak from the heart at that moment, with no notes or pre designed words. After they speak the words, the King and Queen bless the couple under the stars. Yes, it is a night time ceremony. After that, the couple goes off on their own until dawn, where they reunite with their family and now their friends, to have a reception in the morning. While the couple is on their own until dawn, they are allowed to do whatever they please.
** Note: Due to the King and Queen being on Sommos, Massa and Ra are in charge of any and all marriages that happen to be held on Earth.
