Chapter 3
The journey begins
Ven,Erika,and Zodishya set out for adventure.The start of the journey wasn't really hard,and every chance Ven got,he trained to hold the sword his Father "gave" him.Zodishya taught Ven magic,but instead of learning Water magic like Zodishya,Ven learned Wind magic,so his main element was wind.Erika also learned magic,but she learned water magic and healing magic.Ven still mainly stuck to using his swords to fight,no matter what really.
"Hey...Zodishya...have you ever ran into any other demons?"Ven questioned."Yes...i have actually.They never told me where they were from though..."Zodishya then explained all the kinds of demons he has encountered over the years,and then he looked off towards an empty field."What are you looking at Zodishya?"Ven said,and then Erika looked the same way.hey focused on one single point within the field.A small rock?No....a demon?
Zodishya started running towards it and then Erika followed."Come on Ven!"She shouted and then Ven started following."What exactly are we doing!?"Ven shouted."I sense something..."Zodishya said and then the three reached the rock,and looked at it.It was a blood red rock that glistened in the sun.The three stared at it for a while,and then looked around to see if anyone else was around.No one.
"This thing should be worth alot..."Ven said."Yea it would...but....it would be wrong to sell it."Erika said,stating her own opinion."And why is that?"
Ven and Erika argued for a while and then the three heard a clashing of swords from the forest.After a while of staring at the forest,out came a young man.His hair was black and medium length.He was carrying a short sword,one that was nearly a joke,and after he ran out of the forest,someone/something came out of the forest after him.
"You will pay for what you have done to our people!"Hissed the hooded figure."Sorry buddy.....but i haven't done a thing!"The man said.en then ran up to the creature and smirked."If the man said he didn't do anything...he didn't do anything."He said as he slammed his blade down to the ground cleaving the creature in half."Wow...saved by a mere child...didn't expect that to happen."Said the man."Yea...a child that has been through hell....""You and me both kid...now....you see a ruby anywhere?"Erika then walked up to the man and then handed him the gemstone."Thank you....now i must be off."The man then walked away and was eventually out of sight.
"Okay....what was that all about?"Ven said as he tilted his head a little to the right,and as he did,everyone else did the same."No clue...but i thought i should give it back...""Not that...that guy....why was he so interested in that ruby?""Couldn't answer that for the life of me Ven..."
The three started traveling the same direction the man took and then within the same amount of time they met the guy did they run into him again."Great not again...this time he is gonna ask us for food i bet..."Ven sarcastically said."Hey...i dont ask for stuff thats not mine...and yes,i can hear you." man said."Good....looks like i have nothing to worry about.""Yes...it is....anyways..i never properly introduced myself...my name is Lucian Cross.pleasure to meet you all."Lucian said.
"My name is Ven...this is....""...Erika,and that over there is...""....Zodishya!Nice to meet you!""Nice introduction there...spend more time on that then your fighting?"Lucian said.Ven then grabbed the hilt of his sword,and then looked at Lucian."Trust me....dont get me angry....""Tough talk there kid....anyways....you three are an unlikely bunch...a Human,a Cat demon,and what looks like a Kitsune demon...""Half...""Oh...that's really unlikely!"
"How can you tell what Zodishya is?"Ven questioned."Simple...im half dragon."Ven,Erika,and Zodishya's jaws dropped when they heard that the man before them was half dragon.Dragons haven't been around for centuries,and suddenly they meet a HALF-DRAGON!?"How the hell are you still alive!?""Well...Half-Dragons do have a significantly longer life span than a human,just like Half Demons..."Lucian then explained his past and things that tied into his past.
