So, I have been off an on of gaia since I was in high school. When the site was first up it was called gogaia.com. I guess its just kinda a thing to come back here off an on. It can be fun, sometimes I find that people get a little mean these days. I am a comic book writer, small business owner. I am a huge comic book geek. I recently was at the baltimore comic con. As a kid I really was into the Marvel universe but these days they have jsut killed it. Sometimes I go on epic rants about how bad marvel has just killed everything that ever made them great. DC is really making a hit back with the new 52. I did my best to get a copy of every first edition and not open it. My husband really wanted to read them like in had copy, (even though he had the digital copy to read). I guess its just an old school honor. You have to read it again in hand when something is that great. I know they are working really hard on it. My husband is a comic book writer as well. He has written and been published by DC comics and Marvel Comics. As well as a few other small prints (Haven't we all). Sometimes when I read some of the new stuff marvel is doing it makes me seriously angry. The whole new thing with spider man is pure bull s**t. Selling his wife to the devil. Then the whole "Spider island" Where everyone has super powers. And he is no longer married or has ties to marry jane. He is ******** some reporter b***h and yes, they all have super powers. Its just insane. Once sells in marvel went down because of bull s**t like that they fired half of their staff. They are making comic shops carry twice the amount they ordered to try and boost sells but only to find the comic shops don't even want them. I find that sad and its awesome DC is doing that well. I am a hard core Wonder Woman fan. I love Bat Man. The Teen titans. Donna troy! Green lantern. If you haven't picked up a brightest day or blackest night comic, its basically a must! -Anyways thats it for this journal entry. Might post again soon. I donno. I might make this a daily thing.
