another veil, a cataract, that once had blinded me
stripped away, another day, my eyes are opened more

The illusion of the desert's sand
will satisfy the heart of man.
As his well of strength drys up
he seeks another to fill his cup
But who can see within this storm?
And of what origin is he born?
To be so humbled with given sight
you thought it day but its twilight
The time had gone within a blink
the desert sands begin to sink
All your life deceived, a lie
another siren's lullaby
that played to all your hearts desires
you let it kindle the blackest fires
fractured, broken, torn apart
the ends of the deceptive heart
so open up your closed minds eye
and see the truth within the lie
