So, on Saturday night, I watched the big Final of BRS on my iPod.

Mato is plunged into the Otherworld, where she is violently attacked by Insane Black Rock Shooter. I don't think she should have expressed her wish to be put through pain quite so passionately. Maybe IBRS simply got annoyed with her.
Very unhappily, though, Strength decided to die, which is a pain because I was starting to ship Mato with her more than Yomi. And Yuu, after quite a scene, was forced to return to the Human World.
Geez, Yuu's old life wasn't THAT bad. Come on. I've known people with way worse. But perhaps there was more to it than was shown.

While Yomi and Kagari's Other selves came back to life one way or another, luckily they all now seem to be an emotionally stable, happy group or girlfriends.
But NONE OF THEM KISSED!! Not even our main girls. The only shown canon couple was Kohata and that guy.

So anyway!
I'm sad that the series is over! Although I believe it could have been better- longer, a bigger plot, more characters maybe- overall I enjoyed the series.
I still feel like the story of Black Rock Shooter isn't over, and certainly hasn't been fully explained. I rather hoped they would use The Gomband's Braveheart for the end theme of the final episode, but alas.

In any case, despite the 8 episode series I just watched, I still have the same feeling I did back when I finished the OVA, which will always be special to me.

But perhaps the whole story of Black Rock Shooter never will be revealed...
