The Secret Service is known for their professionalism, which is why the allegations of misconduct by agents who went ahead to prepare for President Obama's arrival at the Summit of the Americas in Colombia are so shocking. An entire unit of the Secret Service has been recalled and relieved of their duties after reports that at least one agent relieved himself with the services of local prostitutes. Prostitution is technically legal in Colombia, and none of the accused agents are part of the presidential detail that flanks the leader of the Free World; these are members of the division that carries out "protective responsibilities through a network of fixed security posts." Still, it seems like Secret Service agents should be the last people caught with their pants down.
