Odessa lived a very sheltered life. Her mother and father were high officials of the government, leaving little to no time for a child. After her mother gave birth to her, her parents gave her away to her aunt and uncle. Her aunt and uncle worked for the corrections facility so she was led in the direction to continue the family business. Her aunt and uncle paid for schooling to make this possible, but Odessa discovered that she wanted to go for something else. One night, she disappeared, taking nothing with her except the clothes on her back. She wasn't use to living on her own. After living on the streets, she was picked up by a group from the wrong crowd. There, she earned her keep and learned how to get around the law. They put her though various levels of training. This made her fluent in four languages, a sharp shooter, and a hell of a fighter. She also learned how to rig ships by going undercover to steal information fro her rebel group.
One night, on the job, she was set up for disaster. Her group left her with a trail. Odessa's aunt and uncle owned the corrections department. Finding her in one of their own cells created havoc within the government. Her capture was kept quiet for the sake of the stability of the city. Instead of letting her free to roam the streets once again, they sent her on a ship. Ever since then, she has been working for her aunt and uncle, providing for government ships.
