I see
And
I feel
Pain, sorrow
Tears about to overflow
And...
Suddenly
I leap out of my body
And am soaring above the ground
My feet barely visible
Power and energy
Flowing freely through my veins
And...
The sun heals my wounds
No matter what kind,
How harsh,
Or deep.
The warmth,
Combining itself with adrenaline
Suddenly i once again
Feel embodied
My feet and heart
Pounding in unison
My skin and the earth
Brown on brown
Harmony and inner peace
And slowly very slowly
I come back to my own body
Only to discover that
In my life
Nothing has changed.
I am back to where i started
Back to the pain
Back to see the misery
I am back to reality
