Carelessness
There are times when I know I do need to be silent...
But being silent for them will never help them understand...
Even if they tell me to hush up...I follow but they might misunderstand me.
Will I ever be understood?
I know I should listen to them at times, but can I ever get something in return?
When will the time be right to know what I'm trying to say?
Since they won't listen to what I have to say ... fine!
They don't need to listen to what I have to say, to them it probably might be very important but that's fine...they lost their chance.
I'm tired of fighting them to get them to listen to my thoughts...
Probably the reason why I even write these poems...
That's right...there is no other way for me to express my feelings at all...
Not much of the people out there even bother to know how I even feel!
Yet...I listen to them at times and try to cheer them up.
So why don't they do the same for me in return?
Is it too hard to listen to me? too much drama? too sad? No time?!
Look! I make time to listen to you...your feelings, your heart, your thoughts...
You just don't understand what I'm trying to say about my feelings at all!
Who am I suppose to look up to now?
Sometimes...you laugh at my feelings, thinking I'm making drama on purpose, thinking I'm faking it...
NO! You are wrong! All my feelings are true! You just never actually consider them at all! Thinking it is all a laughing matter!
It's not...It never was...and never will be...because I'm human like you...
I don't write these poems for fun...I write them to let people like YOU know how I actually feel on the inside!
It's not just all about ME! I don't write for fun...there is not always fun involved...you see things ONE SIDE don't you?
You're just like "them" my parents, my relatives...those people...
I never liked them...I don't care if they don't like me either.
I'm just me...what can I say?
Different from other girls...that's me.
