Dreaming and watching
I'm the monster inside of your heart
Twisting your aimless thoughts
You're lost for a second
But so self aware
I'm proud but conceited
My head fills with air
The walls disappear
And so do my ambitions
Ignoring the clouds in your head
And twisting your thoughts around
You don't make a sound
As i find a way for you to stay
with me
The lights have gone out for a second
The air in your lungs starts to thin
And every inane superstition
Is leaving your body again

Excuse me for the wait
There've been so many things that
I've had to overcome
I had to kill the little woman
That slept inside of you
And another little creature
That shared its heart with you
Remember the times that you begged for escape?
Well now i can promise to be there when you wake.
So let your thoughts go
Leave this world behind
Travel back into your mind
So let your life go
