As I dig deeper and deeper into Riddicks past, the less sense it makes and the more violent it gets. I can't help but be reminded of myself. I'm lucky that I was able to find a sense of purpose besides 'survive'. I don't think Riddick ever had a choice, though. It seems from birth he was prophesied to be a killer. He didn't know that, but I'm sure he wasn't surprised when he found out.
Besides some time in the military and as a merc, Riddick's spent most of his time in prison, hence why I'm spending most of my time studying him in a prison. Fortunately they're mostly corrupt as hell so it's not too hard to sneak around. After this though, I think I'm taking a break from watching dangerous murderers.
Oh that's right, if someone wasn't a dangerous murderer, they probably wouldn't be on my radar. Oh well, more fun that way...
