Been ages and ages since I have set mouse and keyboard in gaia. Never got the hang of meeting people on here. But had friends and what not. I would fish and play pinball obsessively. always hoping the items I earned would be worth something eventually for that one dream item. Now with gaia cash there is no struggle to get that dream item. for anyone. HELL! you can buy gold! I view this the same way as when I began back in '07. There were people complaining how back when they started in '05 or what not they had to wear rags! and started with nothing. Well I view it as more evened out. Gaia cash is a good thing since it evens the board. Even though yes I got unsightly starter clothes when I began they were better than those of the people before and that pissed them off. But with gaiacash there is no growing in rank visualy no seeing who is a newbie and who is not. Some take pride in their account age or post count or items. I try and remember its a chat site. Gaiacash simply evens the field so we can focus on forming friendships and playing ZOMG!. Though it is odd how all my old junk is worth (in my opinion a ton of gold).
