He pouts as he continues to float aimlessly in space. The rest of his star brethren had all found planets to call their own. One of his friends found a warm planet to inhabit in the Sunflower galaxy. Another found a place in the Cartwheel galaxy. Everyone seemed to have found a planet to call their own. Everyone except him of course. He blamed this problem on his critical nature. He had certain tastes and he wouldn't just settle for an unfit planet he decided. But as he continued to float aimlessly in the cosmos he felt his resolve soften. What if he would never find a planet? What if he was doomed to hop from one heavenly body to the next, forever unsatisfied which each he came across? He had already been through all the known galaxies. The Black Eye galaxy was too dim for his liking. The Cigar galaxy directly clashed with his anti-tobacco stance. And the Sombrero galaxy just seemed outright outlandish. There was only one galaxy that he had left to explore, the Milky Way. He floated aimlessly toward it, taking his time with every light year. Once inside the galaxy he made his way to the first planet he could find. The planet seemed small compared to the usual planets he had visited. As he entered the planet's smoky atmosphere he found himself noticed the interesting planet's surface. The planet was colored an interesting shade of blue and he could see (and feel) that the majority of the planet's surface consisted of rock and ice. He roamed the planet and as he roamed he had felt a feeling that was unfamiliar to him. Shaking it off, he continued to float through, admiring the planet's peaks and valleys. However, what he had noticed most about this planet was the lack of warmth. The planets he had visited before were too close to their mother star and all the colder planets had already been inhabited. Furthermore, he realized that the planet was just close enough to the other galaxies so travel for him would not be difficult should be decide to visit some of his friends. After pondering these thoughts, he decided to sit on the planet's surface. He found himself smiling. It was then that he realized the unfamiliar feeling was what one would describe as contentment. He decided then and there that this planet would be his and his alone. He looked toward the ground and kissed the planet's cold, rocky surface.

"I have found a home," he said.

Now he had to decide on a name for his planet to make it truly his. It was a tradition for the star people to name their planets. It not only gave a sense of ownership but it made the planet seem more than just a collection of rocks and gases (which, let's be honest, is all they really are).

"I think," he said, "I shall name you Pluto."

He smiled and sat still, pleased with his decision.
