So I was just in a forum about Abortion, which I can't get back to because I think the thread got too long. My whole point was that I'm prochoice simply because you can't rule everybody out who's pregnant as irresponsible. It doesn't work that way. Even if there was the smallest percentage of exceptions to the assumption that those who get pregnant could have prevented it, I believe that it invades the rights of life and persuit of happiness of that percentage to force them to bring a child to term or even make it a little more difficult for them to take the opposite road. It's like a teacher who never accepts homework late, even if you have a good reason, because he or she believes that all students who can't get their homework in on time is irresponsible. It makes me - very - mad. evil
***** mrgreen We also talked about marriage and committment (sc). I find marriage to be a safegaurd. If someone's willing to spend that time and money to have sexual intercourse, they gotta be committed, right? Feel free to comment.
