Chinese Horoscope: The Cat (also known as the Rabbit)
Meh... I was so fond of this part, I tried my best to transilate it...
It amuses me how accurate it is. I high-lighted a few things that I found particularly correct.
---------------------------
The name of this sign can vary between Eastern countries. In Japan they call it the Rabbit, in Vietnam they call it the cat. But what both the Cat and the Rabbit have in common is that they both land on their feet. People born in this sign are the happiest people on this planet - the people that are the most determined to live a happy life. They are well made in their creation, pleasant to be around, elegant in appearance and have their ambitions, but never too much. Still no one will look past these people, because they are great fellowship.
But it can be quite difficult to carry so much of good qualities. And there is some unpleasantness which follows being a small creature like the Cat.
Those born under the sign of the Cat tend to be a bit outwardly and it has to be said that many of those good qualities are mostly just on the surface. The Cat loves good company and those who end up in such company often favor the Cat.
Cats enjoy entertaining others, and their homes are often really beautiful and point towards a good taste, sometimes "snobbish", and she-Cats do alot to show how rarefied and smart they are, and its usually something they have just reasently learned. They will usually analyze something all the way down to the roots before they can explain and talk about them, often forgetting more important things in the progress.
Its not easy to irritate a Cat. It's quiet and calm, the very amity itself. Personal problems touch it more than the troubles of the world. It doesnt bother too much with hunger and war, as long as the subject doesnt conflict on it directly. But if it does consern it, it will affect it enough that it'll just roll over and die.
It doesnt take much to make the Cat cry, but its rather easilly comforted.
Cats are really careful, sometimes a bit cowardly. Never does it do anything before checking out all the factors and risks involved, with and against. Many admire the Cat and make it their repository and advisers.
Finances are usually always on the safe side for the Cat. It's cunning in commerce and noone that signs a deal with the Cat should try to twist their way out of it. The Cat is also lucky in commerce and susceptive on when it should steal/bargain. And the Cat really enjoys business in stranger areas, such as selling antiquities, where their perspicacity can really show. In politics, jobs in diplomatic services or on the fields in law are something of a Cat's liking - as long as it's offered peace and quiet.
Females in this sign enjoy the most jobs that require tastefulness and sensitivity for what fits - such as decorating a store window. Those in politics are best set with a she-Cat by their side. Proud but staid, she can be a fine hostess and increases their husband's radiance.
Even if the Cat is affectionate and submissive towards those it loves, it doesn't really mind favouring friends on the expenses of it's closest. The truth is that the Cat isnt really a family-kind of person. It often treats its own children and parents like strangers compared to the friends it favours the most. Mothers born in the sign of the Cat can be so dutiful at their best, but dont give much for the motherhood role itself.
Its should be possible for a Cat to live out all three spells of their lifes in the amity it so desires, as long as one condition is fulfilled. It has to shun all exceptional situations, avoiding that things take a unexpecting turn and that there that there wont be any hindrances that cant be moved. If it cant stand against all such things, then it'll just become insane, commit suicide or give up compleatly.
In the East, people tend to look at the Cat with some suspicion. The common religion says that witches and magical lowlifes change into cats. Didn't they burn such people at the stake in the middle-ages, beliving them to be with the devil?
But still the bad reputation of the cat isnt really deserved, as they were worshipped as gods in ancient Egypt.
