DISCOVERING MY DESTINY
- First time transforming? Well, that was something else, I've got to say. The first time I transformed was not the first time I saw my transformation lip rod, no. The first I learnt of my destiny was on a day like any other. I was at the race track when I ducked into the garage after hearing someone groaning in pain inside. In there was a kid who was doubled over in what seemed like agonizing pain. I went over to help him when a strange light struck him and transformed him into some kind of beast! I was surprised to say in the least, so much so that it took me by surprise and knocked me back against the wall. That's when I saw it. A strange, sparkling light and before I knew it, a strange lip rod was formed. Unsure if I could do anything else, I slowly reached for it, my hand shaking. I nearly had it in my grasp when a voice called out for me not to touch it, and as soon as I retracted my hand, the rod fell to the ground. I turned my head towards the source of the voice to find someone I had met quite a few times, someone named Michelle. She spoke and told me that if I grabbed that rod, I wouldn't be able to have the life I wanted. Saying that, she took out a similar but slightly different lip rod and spoke out the words "Neptune Planet Power!" and I saw her transform. I thought she was beautiful before...But as the Sailor Soldier, she was something else entirely. Almost distracted by the sudden change, I saw her going to attack the monster, but I got in the way, telling her that there was a kid in there. She started explaining something when the monster went for me, but she got in the way and took the brunt of the attack herself. She was seriously injured, angry red marks covered her body. I didn't like that look on her, I took her into my arms and she explained that I was a sailor soldier, just like her, and how she was very happy to learn that I was supposed to be her partner. As she was explaining this, the monster turned back into a kid and Michelle talked about the burden she bore and she didn't want that for me. But I didn't want for her to shoulder it alone, so I took the rod and swore to her I would be her partner. I would help her though this. Her burden would become mine as well.
