"You hold another person's happiness in you hands."

"My brother died last week. He died from an illness. My mother died as well. When I was very small. My dad and I are the only survivors in the family. I received my father's genes."

"I really want you to see my exhibition and the sight of me, who has grown so much in these past two years. I'm sure you will be surprised when you see me now. Because as I declared to you earlier, I became a wonderful woman. I'm sure you will regret it. But the truth is things like that aren't important. Right now I just want to see you. I want to see you and if it's possible, I'd like you to praise me. I want you to tell me: "you worked hard, good job". Hey, there's a traffic light ahead with a crosswalk button. You can't cross here, so you should walk ahead. I fell in love with you at that very moment, you know. I started to love you more than anyone else in the world, you know. Hey Makoto. Was there at least a tiny bit of love in that kiss?"
He thought to himself while looking at the picture, "there was. It wasn't even close to a tiny bit. You were..My everything."

"She used to lie very often, I want to be fooled by her lies for just a while longer."

"Everyday is very fun, then it's hard to believe there is an end to everything, but it's always the same. Farewells always arrive before the realization of our feelings. But still everyone always tells me with a smile, "goodbye, see you again. Goodbye, see you in some other place." So I will say this to you. Even though I have come this far, goodbye see you again in some other place."

"I want you to know, the forest that has all of our memories is still there."

This is one of the best movies in my opinion. Sad ;-; When he saw all those pictures of him, I cried. When they had that moving kiss, I hoped. When he figured out she passed away because of a disease of how when one matures the disease matures as well, I cried. That's such a sad thing. Because she fell in love and wanted him to love her, she wished for herself to mature. Their feelings were mutual (he realized it when they kissed) but before he could confess, she disappeared. The reason is told at the end in one of her many letters. Highlight if you want to know: On the day of their long kiss, she disappeared from his sight (He ended up having a huge fever searching for her and that almost killed him had he not gone to the hospital via friend piggybacking him). She said at the end (in her letters), she was embarrassed. Not by the kiss, but by the fact that she was all talk about maturing. So she went on a trip to New York. She called it the "Journey of Independence".
crying I really wanted the both of them to stay alive and well and live happily together. But I guess they are still alive in each others' hearts. Overall 10/10 It was a beautiful story. The cast performed well, the sound was good, the plot was good. The ending was very sad. It left me hanging and rewinding the movie by 10 minutes a few times before I could get a logical explanation up in my head. You see, I don't watch many really sad movies. At the end, I could only tell myself that they are inside each others' hearts and will, as she says in her letter at the end, "see you again in some other place".

Tada, Kimi wo Aishiteru (Heavenly Forest)
When he said he thinks he isn't going to get married, he was right.
Oh right, she sends him a letter two years later that she has her own photography exhibition but by then she was close to death.

For the title, you'll understand why it's named that if you watch the movie.
Ughhh... Still feeling sad.. emotion_sweatdrop
