yeah.
Soooo, I haven't posted in forever and the last time I did post was when I was slightley more demented than usual.
Things have been iffy that past week or so... Thanksgiving was fun, but then I had a stomache bug. And after the stomache bug, I had a chest cold. And after the chest cold, I just had (and still do have) a common cold. I was losing my voice last thursday and friday...... and throughout the weekend as well.
Now, my voice is betterish, but my cough is still nasty, and my stomache still feels icky.
So that is basically how my time has been spent since my last entry: sick.
Well, with the exception of last Friday. I went to my friend's party. Because she doesn't live in town, we were all loud and obnoxious... it was fun. But alot of wrongness came out of it:
--Eric and Mat wouldn't stop groping the bolster (sp?) pillows and Eric became the pillow pimp.
--Because of my faltering voice, I deamed my self the manliest person there. (There were only three guys)
--Thanks to a lovely game of truth or dare, I had to lick the bottom of my foot... (Thank God I showered right before the party)
But, all in all, it was fun. We sang and danced and had oodles of fun. I really wore my voice down that night, but it was great.
We watched They. I really didn't find it scarey but my friend (she knows who she is) was freaking out. And then her mom, who was sleeping in the hall, grabbed her leg when she walked by. It was so funny.
Today was a drag.... it dragged on and on and on. It started snowing about Bpd. and everyone thought that we were going to get out early, but it was just a light dusting. That made the day seem even longer than usual. After lunch I felt icky... by the time I got to Japanese, I was too tired to notice (until the end of class) that someone special was dressed up really cute again today. Though, I think I may have yet another crush... but lets not go there. And I wasn't even able to appreciate it. I was stiffling my coughs all through Japanese so as to not disrupt Brian's presentating.
Tomorrow I may have to present a Japanese thingie but by then my voice will be perfect and I'll be able to speak well enough for a mediocre grade.
For now, I am just going to waste time on aim until dinner.... because I can.
I'll do my homework tonight; I'll practice tomorrow morning before school; I'll sing to the mountains, sing to the sea, later.
Viva las couch potatoes!
