Engulfed in the Bonfire
As I am smelling my burning flesh,
the hues of the flames keep me bind in its mesh.
Squeezing.
Releasing.
Every inch of me.
Just breathe.
Blinded by the rage from others flame.
I can no longer see anything as the same.
The leaves tell me to relax
as I smile and accept the final hack of my killer's axe.
Round and round.
The falling leaves fall as quiet spirals.
My warm blood is released by the cold-blooded murderer,
covering the leaves,
making the red more vibrant than a heart bound by a tight squeeze.
The leaves shakes gently with the breeze.
One last breath.
Inhaling the earthiness
among the bloody mess.
"Cover me one last time"
My mind conveyed
as the leaves stay.
-Snow that flutters down like feathers
Note: Hello my fellow readers, I know it has been a "while" since I have written a poem. But, I have finally returned after what seemed to be weeks of torment from sinus problems with my ears. This is my Fall poem, even though, it is getting close to winter. Anyways, I look forward to writing more poems. Happy Reading.
