Sprouts of Humankind
"Make your mark."
Says many previous of us.
We aim to make numerous things better.
Our definition of "better."
With countless attempts,
we plant our seeds.
As seeds would do,
they sprout.
But, what we see sprouting out is what differs.
Sprouts of opinions.
Sprouts of knowledge.
Sprouts of point of views.
As most monsters would do,
many sprouts get trampled.
Crushed.
Smeared to oblivion.
Under the dirt where no light hits.
Similar to the twilight zone in the ocean where the darkness sits.
We have come to the time.
Time where nonsense is spewed.
Where common sense and validity only appear in dreams.
Our society is hanging by the seams.
As bones and blood spill,
the cycle becomes undone just to be redone.
Humankind has become one major wreck
while the afterlife and beyond sees us as one useless speck.
-Snow that flutters down like feathers

Note: Hello my readers, Happy Spring! Here is another work to celebrate the season where many things flourish. Some good and some bad. As there have been many deaths happening lately, flowers continue to bloom. Trees continue to sprout their leaves. And, so will overpopulation. Humankind's one of many weaknesses. Spring is a great time to relax, breathe in the faint scents of flowers, sip some gentle fragrant hot tea or a strong cup of Ko-fi. That's right! I made a Ko-fi page, so if you all want to support my work, you can share a cup of Ko-fi with me. On a side note, I plan to write 3 poems a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.)
