Today, or yesterday to be exact (exact to the day if you want to be picky), was very good, though it did make me very tired - hence the lack of the Journal entry! It started as any normal day would, lots of rushing in the morning after I had managed to pull myself out of bed into the cold!
Then I got to school... It was freezing. I decided to eat breakfast, and I managed to have a peppered steak pie and a bottle of blackcurrant stuff at the side of the exam hall.* We, me an the little ginger friend Aaron, had a Classics exam, which we thought would be the worst experience since blowing the lights up in the toilet (I assure you, it was purely accedental, pm for more details ninja ). Oh, and dear god, it was...
Think, for a moment if you will, the theme music from Jaws... Now, at the same time picture yourself walking into an exam hall, and being faced with a two and a half hour long exam on 'The Odyssey', 'Oedipus The King' , 'Antigone' and 'The effects of the social structure in Sparta and how it was unique'. If you can't do the last bit kneel on the floor so that your forehead is level with the edge of your desk, then re-position yourself so that you are staring at the sharp cornered edge of the desk, and then thrust your head towards the edge of the desk, so the sharp corner makes contact with the middle of your forehead. Repeat until satisfed.
We imerged shadows of a former selves, mere jibbering wrecks. Then on to RE... which was sickeningly easy.
The evening was where things got really heated though! I got a phone call at about 8 at night...
*phone crackles* "Hello!?"
'Hello?'
"Hello."
'Hi? Hello?!'
"Hello!"
'Hi!'
Mysterious voice with loud background music then says:
"Find me an ipod... in time for crimbo..."
Jumping n****e clamps Batman! Looks like a job for the phone book! So, I phoned round everywhere in a vain attempt to find one... but I failed... Untill - I went on e-Bay, god damn you can buy anything on there!
