Aly walked stepped outside of the airport. She was wearing a fushia jacket over a white t-shirt, a pair of dark grey baggy hip huggers, a pair of purple sneakers, and a blue scraf with silver cresant moons and starts on it she wears on her head. The only thing she has with her is a green backpack.

Aly: "Man, that was ong long flight. Okay, now how can I get a ride to the Xiaolin Temple?"
While Aly was looking around, she saw a familiar face. It was Master Monk Gwan.
Aly: "Hey Gwan! Long time no see!"
Master Monk Gwan: "It's good to see you too Aly Tanner."
Aly: "I didn't know Monks can drive cars."
Master Monk Gwan: "Oh, we're not driving."
Aly: "Huh?"
Master Monk Gwan: "It would be our honor to walk."
Aly: "Okay, cool with me."
Aly and Master Monk Gwan started walking away from the Airport to start their journey to the Xiaolin Temple. Many hours later; they were walking on a dirt path in the middle of the woods, which leads them to their destination.
Aly: "Ummm, Master Monk Gwan? These Xiaolin Warriors you've been telling me about? I mean I know they've have alot of experience, and they're strong, but are they nice?"
Master Monk Gwan: "I can sense you're shy right now."
Aly: "Huh?"
Master Monk Gwan: "Because awhile ago you were calm, cool, and collected. And not to mention funny."
Aly: "Oh, well, true, I am. Well actually, I'm nervous because, I wonder if they'll like me."
Master Monk Gwan: "I can assure you Ms. Tanner, these warriors will accept you."
Aly: "But, what if they..."
Master Monk Gwan: "You can open up when you're ready."
Aly: "Okay, I'll try."
Master Monk Gwan: "I believe this is where we'll part."
Aly: "But, there's no fork in the road."
Master Monk Gwan: "I was able to get you half way..."
"Yeah if you think walking about 1,000 miles is half way." Aly thought to herself.
Master Monk Gwan: "You'll have to get there on your own."
Aly: "I think I can handle it."
Master Monk Gwan: "Oj I almost forgot." He rumages through his bag. "Here."
Master Monk Gwan handed Aly a crystal necklace.
Aly: "My amulet!" She said a joyful tone.
Master Monk Gwan: "I found it after you rescued me from those gangsters. Tried to give it back to you but you ran off in a hurry."
Aly: "Sorry, I promised my dad I'd show up at Fusion Arts right after school that day and I was late. Thank you so much."
Aly took a quick look at the necklace and when she looked up, Master Monk Gwan disappeared.
Aly: "Whoa. Now that's weird."
She put her necklace on and she continued walking on the path to the Xiaolin Temple. Aly is unaware that Master Monk Gwan is standing on a tree branch.
Be careful Aly Tanner, you're role as a Xiaolin Dragon may be more important than you think. Master Monk Gwan thought.
It's been over two hours since Aly continued walking. She stopped for a minute to take a quick break. Aly looked over the horizon and saw what looked like a village over three miles to where she is going, she knew she was getting closer to the Xiaolin Temple. But then she begins to ponder about something.
I know I should be psyched about being part of this whole saving the world thing and being independant. It's just I haven't made good friends ever since Jade Wong moved to England. And that was only 6 years ago. But I must remember not to try so hard and I'll be okay. Like Master Monk Monk Gwan said; "You can open up when you're ready.". Right, I can do this! Aly thought.
Then someone interuppted her train of thought by tapping on her shoulder. Aly turned her head and saw an old Asian lady standing beside her.
Old Lady: "Excuse me young lady, I was wondering if you could tell me if there's a village near by."
Aly: "Actually there is, it's straight ahead."
Old Lady: "Oh thank you so much, I've been walking for days and I don't know whether I'm going the right way or not."
Aly: "You have? You must be tired. Why don't I carry you to the village."
Old Lady: "Are you sure you don't mind?"
Aly: "Of course I don't mind."
Aly lift the old lady on her back and carried held her backpack in her hand and started walking toward the village. When they finally got there she put the old lady down where the arch is.
Old Lady: "Thank you so much, you're truely are a saint."
Aly: "Oh it's no problem."
Old Lady: "I really want to repay you for your kindness."
Aly: "Well, there is one thing. I want to know if..."
Old Lady: "You're getting closer to the Xiaolin Temple?"
Aly: "Umm, yeah. How did you know?"
Old Lady: "Obviously a pure-hearted soul like you is chosen to save the world from evil."
Aly blushes of modesty after what the old lady said.
Old Lady: "Just go through the village, keep walking until you see a bridge. Walk over the bridge and keep walking until you see a large monestary, that is the Temple you are looking for."
Aly: "Thank you so much. I wish there's a way I can repay you for your help."
Old Lady: "Oh no my dear, you're kindness was awarding enough."
They both heard thunder and few drops started to pour.
Old Lady: "Now you better get going, it will rain soon."
Aly: "Okay! Bye! And thanks again!"
As she waved goodbye to the old lady, Aly ran toward the other arch on the otherside of the village. By the time she ran out of the village it began to rain. She kept walking until she finally arrived at the Xiaolin Temple.
Wow, I can't believe how big it is. Funny, it somehow feels like the first day of school. lol. She thought.
Aly stood in front of the temple with awe. She knocked on the door and it began to open, it was then Aly's destiny was about to change her life forever.
