The childrens show ended today... I'm pretty sad about it, too. I mean, it was tons of fun. I met a lot of people and learned so much from both techies and actors!!! I learned bits and pieces about some actions, and expressions. Not to mention how to use the sound board, play music through the entire theater, and test a battery. Plus I made so many new friends. Maybe not like... heart-to-heart friends, but great people who make me laugh and I can act goofy around.
Hah, I'd like to thank the sound head, though he won't read this most likely. He had ot put up with me and two of my friends in a small booth. and that's just on sound. Let's not forget the two people on lights!!! And even though he got sick, he managed to put up with our hyperness without throwing us out the window. Thanks a bunch! and you know you can always borrow the arm of my chair if I don't feel like getting out of it. wink
Hm... I almost started crying writing all this! I'll miss those hours after school messing around before sound checks. Even if I ended up getting beat up some how... (Next time I'm clinging to that chair as if it were my last life line damnit!!!) But I'll always remember the show as being the first show I got to sit in the booth in. And the first time I got to introduce myself in front of an audience for a quesiton and answer. I swore to myself back in Jr. High that I'd do so, and I got to! Thanks again, "Mr. Person!" Be proud. I'm watching the History Channel right now!!!
Uh... well, I haven't really started studying for finals yet. I have my books and plan to do so tomorrow. Which means no early afternoon chatting for me except in breaks. Am I worrying too much? It doesn't really matter, I guess. I should redo or at least add ot my english project though. So I'll be online on AIM for at least a little bit while I work on that. If you need to reach me, that's the time.
Well, I guess I'll end this now. Thanks again, everyone involved with the show, for making it great as my first show! I laughed harder than ever watching the ending scene, and some people can vouch for me on that. Thanks again, I only wish I had gotten my shirt signed by a few people... Like Glorious... or some other charcaters and techies! BUT YOU'RE STILL ALL COOL!
Thanks for reading this ginormous rant and listening to me talk about my great time.
Love,
Alex
