A patition saying the government wants to ban anime...

Now...correct me if I'm wrong, but that goes along with our freedom of speech...hello...in the constitution.
Now, I'm far from a political activist...trust me...I hate politics, and I never vote...infact I had a guy come up to me while I was at the grocery store a few days ago and go "M'am (First off...I HATE being called m'am. Miss if you will...) are you a registered voter?" Me "Nope." Him "Would you like to become one?" Me "No." and I continued on my way...but alas...I'm getting off the topic here...

So...case in point. We are not Southern Africa...we are not China...we are not Afganastan... Our Government does not ban our right to view media. Our Government does not ban the right to listen to music....public gatherings...the news...tv shows...read books...

I think we stopped burning books quite some time ago... Living in America means living in a free nation where we have things like freedom of speech...freedom of the press... It's humorous. Where do people come up with this stuff...? And why does everyone believe it, just because "the government"...dun dun dun...add in the suspensful music and shifty eyes....is mentioned. Please.
