well, XC (cross country) starts August 7th and i'm not lookin' forward to it. My sister did it last year (also track) and she said that XC practices where harder than track. Joy. I did track and a couple of days after the FIRST meet something caused my hip to mess up. I dunno how else to explain it since the doctors i went to couldn't find anything wrong with me but it hurt so bad i could barely make it up the stairs at school crying . SO I can't imagen what "might" hurt during XC. The bad part is that we have 2 (count them TWO) practices a DAY!!! OMFG! One in the morning, and i'm not a morning person, then one in the evening. I'm just gonna say lets hope december comes quick. (that's when XC ends! WOOP).
I've been doing a running club over this whole summer to help... prepare for XC. But i'm not sure if it helped much considering the fact that my hip as been bugging me off and on ever since track. You would have thought that it would have healed by now but... NO. It's been almost 5 months now.. jessus, it dosen't seem that long ago... eek i'm just shocked for some reason... if just feels like school got out but that was a little over two months ago. Time really starts to speed up once you hit high school. Here pretty soon i'll have to get a job and go to college and what not! AHH!! Nightmares!!! xp lol.... j/k. Lets just say two years ago i thought my Sophmore year seemed years away.
