Chapter three: Going through with it
"Um, mom, well I was wondering, Inuyasha broke up with me because he said I was too much like a boy, you know; wearing baggy jeans, long shirts and so forth. Well I was wondering....."
"Yes I will teach you how to act more like a girl should! I would be glad to!"
"Oh, thanks for the criticism, just kidding mom, thanks for the help."
"Any time."
"Uh, mom when can we start? I wanted to be able to go to the sweetheart dance with him. But if not............."
"Kagome, dear, I'm sorry, but it wil take longer than that. I'm afaid you won't be in the year book with him this time."
"But, mama! I have to be! I've been in it with him since we even met each other."
"Yes, I know. We'll just have to see how things turn out. You are a bit older and more mature than I was, plus you are a much faster learner than I was."
"Thanks mama. I'll do my best."
"I know you will." I nodded my head and walked into the kitchen. Souta was already sitting at his favorite sit. 'Well it looks like I can't take it from him today.'
I walked over to a seat. I loked down at my plate. 'Oh, great this used to be Inuyasha's favorite meal.' With that I slowly started eating.
~~~Later~~~
I slapped down the snopze botton. 'stupid alarm clock.' I got up and streched 'Waking me up again' I stumbled over to the closet. 'What to wear, what to wear.' I reached out to grab my favorite pair of baggy red shorts. Then out of freaken NO WHERE. She quickly slapped my hand away.
"Mom! What the crap was that for?!!!"
"Kagome, I know you haven't already forgotten the assiment?"
"No, I haven't its on my desk." I pointed over to where my computer desk is. "See?"
"No, not your school assiment!!"
"Oh, yea, my 'acting more like a girl' assiment."
"Yes, that one."
"Oh, okay so should I wear this outfit?" I reached out and grabbed one of the boxes Grand-ma sent me. (Her grand-mother on her mother's side.) Inside it had a hot pink tank top, and a dark blue jean mini skirt, and black high heeled boots with hot pink along the sides of it. 'sometimes I think they want me to be hooker.'
