so i thought today was going to suck. i was emo and lonely and really wanted to get out of the house, but ess didn't get her computer back so we didn't go do anything, and i was pissy.

and i finally get around to playing WoW, messaged Red about the silliness of being a shrunken, knockback'd moonkin, and he tells me PVP on lightning's blade (where our mains are) is down, and that he's playing his 38 shaman on the server my old 35 tauren druid is on.
.. and tells me i could play with him.

and i have no idea what we're going to do and really wanted to level veratrine, but ******** YES. I'm not turning down a shot to play with him. It was only the second time it'd happened. Ever. So I popped onto my druid and omgnostalgiahappyattack, even though her gear is totally shitty and she was at the time specced feral. (i'd raised her resto, and ess had had me spec feral shortly before i abandoned her for my own account.)

and then we got into WSG.

*gonk*

I'd done WSG ONCE before. With ess, on my nelf, with her TWINK. it had been cake. So uh, yeah, that scared the crap out of me. I'm very frightened of PVP. Dx And then I found out all my keys were bound COMPLETELY wrong, and was all disoriented and sucked.

but I got into the groove as we kept doing more and I think by the end I was doing alright, considering. :3 healing, rooting alliance, generally being a nuisance. it's what i do best, lord knows i'm not threatening 1v1. rofl

the best part, tho, is that apparently sometime during that, pvp on LB came back, and red's pvp group went up against some rival of theirs..

and he kept playing with me. heart

i've learned to be very thankful for little things like this. i'm very happy rightnow; it's like every once in a while he tosses me a sign that we're still good friends. and y'know what? i guess we are. somehow.

oh, also, i finished the fugly book cover, ONCE AND FOR ALL. (ok not rlly, she's going to look at it tomorrow.. but yeah. :3)
