A Poem Written To Me

All I want is just one night
Just one day
Just time with you
But that will never happen
You don't see me
When I am right in front of you
I scream out your name
But you don't hear me
I need you
But you don't care
What am I suppose to do
Because I think I really love you

Please don't go
Not yet I can't stand to be alone
Please just a little longer
I know I am a slut
And you will be gone
Before the mornings light
But I need to fell the warmth
Of your body next to mine
For just a little bit longer
Then you can go
And I promise never to tell
For I am only to be used
But even so I can't help it
I think I have fallen in love again

You know I have to go
I don't see why you claim to love me so
You don't truly know me
You can only see the mask I pretend to be
We'll never get one night
But it'll be alright
I can hear you screaming
But there's no use in dreaming
I see you, so close
It's as if time has froze
I see your pain
Laying where I have lain
I know it as my own
In this misery you're not alone
But there's nothing anyone else can do
Unfortunately I know this to be true

I'd love you too if I could
I'd live for you if I should
But I can't and I won't
Don't love me…just don't
Please, I beg of you
Something I don't usually do
I'm not worth the loss of light
Just trust me, everything will be alright
You're no whore
I see more
I can't stay any longer, though it's unwritten
This is the time I was given
I won't use you
Is it something you really think I would do?
You don't need me
I wish I could make you see
You're strong enough
The world is tough
I love who you are
Others will see past the same scar
Life is stretched before you
Let my death be your cue
Live life and never look back
