That party was surprisingly fun, considering how few friends of mine were there (surprise party for a girl I don't really like that much, y'know)... my buccaneer outfit got many admiring glances and comments. At the very beginning of the party, Ash, Kim's elder sister whom I have always rather admired came up to me and said "I'm so glad you're here! You're the only interesting one, all the others are so dry". xd Which is impressive considering I thought she had no idea who I was. I actually spent most of the party involved in a very very long theological debate with some Christians who go to church and Bible Camp with the girl whose surprise party it was. Ahem. I was very restrained and polite, which was partly due to the fact that I had eaten NOTHING that day except some party nibbles at 7pm, and partly because they were reasonably nice and interesting people - although it is disturbing talking to people who have just calmly stated that I and all other nonbelievers will be obliterated permanently come Judgement Day.

Oh well. Life. I need to go do some work now.
