Man, it's been a while since I last posted. Sorry 'bout that, folks, I'm sure you all study my logs utterly ecstatic delight and take note to every utterance I record with astonished faces.
stare My vocabulary's showing slightly. gonk Evil english class that works. *growl*
Mmm... alright, now to give you guys play by play highlights of what's happened over the past month or so in which I hadn't posted. I'll probably forget things, but oh well. xd
December 16th, 2004:
I found out that the concert I was going to got cancelled; their van broke down beyond repair to make it to the Texas shows, so they apologized profusely and promised they'd be back through sometime in March. Oh well... I'm really looking forward to it, now!
December 18th (or so), 2004:
I think we had a band practice, or something. Recent update, Madi looked over all the songs we have, and we have a CD's worth! Now we just need to perfect everything, get chords to match the songs, drumbeats, etc, etc. xp Excitement and a chicken coop.
December 24th, 2004:
Unfortunately, my grandmother passed away early in the morning of Christmas Eve. She had been battling ovarian cancer for a couple of years at the time, and since we had enough chance to grieve and say our goodbyes, it really... wasn't that saddening. Y'know what I mean? It's just... I'm sad and all... but it's like a weight's been lifted. She's no longer suffering, and I don't have to worry about that anymore. I just wish we could've taken that trip to Washington like she said we would... but... if I do go, I know she'll be with me.
December 25th, 2004:
I got a TON of presents that I wanted! The two I loved the most were Metroid Prime 2 for my GCN and a squishy, glow-in-the-dark hippo. whee Screw that $40 gift card, HIPPOS R0XX0RZ M4H S0XX0RZZ!!11
January 17th, 2005:
Battle of the Bands at DHS! It was the awesome-est, most inspiring thing our band could go to. 3nodding All the bands were good, but we think that we could sweep it next year, since there weren't ANY female band members up there at all. Just the annoying, sluttily dressed "dancers." Bleh. whee My friend Nathan is the drummer for Common Alibi and my friend Monty is a guitarist in 'A Crucial Thought.' Common Alibi won, so we were all really excited. xp
And those're the main events that've happened since I last posted. Some happy, some sad. The days inbetween were either boring, or I seriously don't want to talk about them. xd !!
xd I want ava-art. domokun Draw me, people, I swear I'll stick it in my signature.
