kay, my onii-san made a rant too the other day. I thought it was worthy to be put in here, so here it is!
It really amazes me how ignorant and closed minded some people are today. i posted a comment on a picture of a freind of mine and said
"whats with everyone and the peace sign s**t ..... democrats these days i swear,lol."
because the chick she was with in the picture was wearing a peace symbol necklace the size of my ******** head! and of course i was joking to an extent. but this chick decided to leave a comment back directed at me, dont get me wrong it wasnt hostile, insulting or anything like that, but ive been itching for a rant lately and thought i would use that to fuel it, anyways she responded,
"******** the person at the bottom, peace is the ony way of survival sorry homie."
can you see the ignorance?
if not, let me lay it down for you.
peace would be the only way of survival if everyone was at a constant state of war all the time. and the only way of that happening would be if every world leader just got the idea to try expansion of their country, with no allies, no reasons or plans of accomplishing anything, just go in and kill everyone. but i seriously doubt thats going to happen, so the fact is that peace is not the only way of survival, nor is war in certain aspects but alot of the time you have to have war for peace. For example, The war in iraq. were in the process of liberating iraq through the methods of war and its working, i mean hell weve got saddam out of power and thats a hell of alot better than him still dictating that country, and testing weapons on civilians. does that really sound like peace? no, but are we liberating them and helping them build a democratic government so they can live peaceful lives? yes, and how are we doing that? through war.

and believe it or not, not everyone holds the same liberal, tree hugging ideology that you might, there will never be a time when there is nothing but peace, there has always been conflict, there always will be conflict, but thats how problems get solved, not through sitting on your a** smoking weed and talking about why we should fix them, but by standing up and doing something about it.
so there you go, ive just shown the flaws in your logic.
