Tonight's my school's homecoming game against some team I don't care about. Everyone who knows me should know that I have a huge amount of hate for my school and the complete morons that go here (No...I am not a moron X3). So I don't even need to answer why I'm not going to watch my school get defeated in football by another school. Besides...even if I did want to go...I have no ride home and its getting darker early these days >.<
I'm not going to homecoming either, I'm choosing to save all school social events for senior year...after last year's winter formal...its not exactly on the top of my list of things I want to do. People have been asking me why I'm not going....and I merely ask them to give me one good reason for why I should go, (I have yet to get one.) Why would I want to pay $12 to spend more time at school...where we have to eat overpriced snacks because they're afraid someone might drug the food, be forced to not leave the auditorium till the dance is over? I forgot to mention...who would want to take part in the clump of people in the center of the room doing what appears to be nothing more than wiggling? XD
And if I did go...I would be faced with talking to people I extremely dislike and who I'm trying to ignore...and I really don't want to dance with Mikey...I love him like a brother...but he needs to learn how to dance. I am not spending $12 to dance with Tristin or Kurosh just to avoid dancing with other people >.<
So I'll be spending my homecoming evening at home with absolutely no regrets! I can catch up on some commissions, finish up a chapter and talk to people who are actually worth talking to.
Yep...I'll save my "school spirit" for next year.
