When Sasuke Was Out… by: Hinata_in _luv

His entire body hurt as the acupuncture needles entered his body. Why had he risked his life for Naruto when he had known the masked kid wouldn’t have killed the damn baka, so why?
Out of the corner his eye, Sasuke saw Naruto, “Get that lame expression off your stupid face…you screw up,” Sasuke managed to say as his blood fell all around him.
“Why?” Naruto whispered, too shocked to move, “Why?”
As Sasuke answered, his life passed before his eyes, most of it containing at least a small part of Naruto. “Why…? You ask me why…?” Sasuke could feel his life fall away with his blood, scattering all over Naruto and the bridge. “Hmph… I used to hate you, you know…”
Naruto’s words were blurred, but Sasuke continued, “…How should I know…? My body just moved on it’s own… you idiot…”
Sasuke’s body gave way and he fell into Naruto’s arms. He felt all of his teammate’s anger, love, and sadness as he slowly drifted more and more away from reality. Inside Sasuke’s heart he knew why he had been teamed up with Naruto… they had been meant to make each other stronger, in which they had succeeded in doing out in the forest.
As Sasuke told Naruto about his promise of revenge on his older brother, Itachi, a bright light formed above him, beckoning him to enter it. Sasuke stayed, fighting to stay, not wanting to leave Naruto and Sakura, even Master Kakashi and the masked kid. He resisted with all his might, “No…”he thought, “No! Not yet…” A sensation of vomit over took him as he gave one last attempt, but all he did was black out…
Sasuke’s eyes barely opened, a sharp painful light pierced them, as he slowly rose from the ground. “Am I still in that iced prison, where is Naruto…Am I in hell or heaven?…hell …”he thought.
Looking around the endless bliss of bright, white serenity, he noticed he wasn’t wearing his usual clothes. He now wore a navy blue kimono and pair of long, billowy, white shorts, like his father had usually worn. Peeking out from under him lay his hitai-ate headband. He bent down and picked up his headband, wiping it on his long sleeve.
As Sasuke tied his headband back on, a familiar hand rested on his shoulder. He’d seen it many times before but, never on him, always on his older brother Itachi. Trying hard not to show his tears, he turned to face his father’s stern face. Felling ashamed of crying, Sasuke stared at his feet.
“Hmph…” his father smiled as he hugged his youngest son and gave him a fatherly noogie, messing up Sasuke’s hair in the process. Sasuke couldn’t hold it back, hot tears soaked his father’s white kimono, he had finally felt his father’s love.
A few seconds later his father stepped back to study Sasuke closely. As Sasuke wiped his tears away he realized the brightness had faded away revealing a starry, moonlight, over grown garden full of blood red roses, reminding him of the last time Sasuke had seen his parents, the night his own brother had slaughtered them.
A warm, motherly embrace surrounded him as a pair of long navy blue and white, floral sleeves wrapped around him and a soft motherly kiss was planted on his check. Sasuke’s mother knelt behind her son, glowing with pride.
“You’ve grown strong son…”his father began. He paused, staring Sasuke in the eyes, “I see you’ve grasped your Uchia blood...I’m proud…”
Sasuke’s mother turned him around; surprise, shock, and proudness filled her eyes as Sasuke’s stared back, red with two swirls.

“I want to stay here,but…”Sasuke whispered.
“But, you want to go back…We know…”his father finished.
Sasuke’s stomach began to churn and his parents started ot melt away,”No…”he yelled,”Nooo…I’ll get Itachi back, father, o.k.?” Sasuke’s imense pain made his vision blur once more.
Was that Sakura he heard crying? Slowly Sasuke cane bacjm “Sakura, your arm is heavy…” Sasuke was back in reality, but who cared, Sakura was already killing him with her hugs…
