Relationship Cycles
Am I the only one to notice how quickly these young teen relationships pass? You go out with a guy and are absolutely totally obsessed with him for a good week, and then one of you ends it because he/she wants to start it up again with a different significant other. They never last, and you just come away jaded and used. Why even get involved? I promised myself a while ago I would not get caught up in this, and when I decided to "go out" with a boy, our dates would include cars we drove ourself, not our moms. And even being less superficial, I would only consider himself date-worthy when I actually KNEW him. His faults as well as his skills. Girls go out with boys when they hardly even know them. The order goes- just met, friends, good friends, date! Not- just met, date, friends. Not only is it short, but nothing comes of it. It's just a cycle. I don't want relationships that are like cycles. Cycles are for slutty people! domokun
