I'm a bit of a perfectionist... this means that I usually avoid doing things because I know I won't be able to stop until I'm done. I am one of the people who would sooner not turn in an assignment than turn it in incomplete. Stupid, warped, strange, but sadly true.
I've had an assignment for over a month to write an essay, and I've been putting it off because I know if I start it, I won't stop working on it until it's done to my satisfaction...being a perfectionist, that means it will be within the word count specifications, it will have the proper amount of paragraphs, all the required information, and everything else. So, to avoid this kind of thing, I usually just don't do these things.
It's going to come back and bite me in the butt one of these days, but I can't stop it.
