MY DEMON
Swiftly move through forest ground,
It shifts its shadow in the night.
Fearsome scowl, Hungry growl,
May I never see that sight.
Chasing me with an icey heart,
I jump as I hear it get closer.
My heart then starts beating faster and faster,
then from a far I hear a faint murmur.
I screamed for mercy & begged to be spared,
When I saw the lights of the city.
But no one moves not even to see,
This crying man's pleas for pity.
That's when I notice I will not make it,
To this brightened city of dispair.
So I turn around to face this demon,
& saw a sight I never should've beared.
It had long sharp claws and blood-stained teeth,
To go with the evil grin it had streching from ear to ear.
It's glowing yellow eyes insisted that I run,
But it retreated itself when it saw I had no fear.
