Dear Journal,
Man, so much has happened in my life. So many different drastic events, so many places I've gone, and so many...friends. The people I'm most fortunate for in my life, due to my family's ignorance toward me. Right now, I want to talk about one of them...
...Crystal...
She's my long-lost sister. Every day, I spend hours on end talking to her. Sometimes on the phone and on AIM at the same time! But, talking isn't the only thing we do together....and for all you perverts, GET YOUR BRAINS OUTTA THE GUTTER; I'M NOT A LESBIAN!! Anyway, we also go to the movies together, have WAAY too many inside jokes, drool at hot goth guys at school (no many how few hot ones there are), and even have a fictional life that both of us have worked on to arrange. If you don't know why, it's because we needed an escape from our crappy realities. I can't remember having as much fun as I've had with her. Wait, nevermind; there was this one time in Disney World...hehe, just joking!!!
We've known each other for almost four years, and she's become my absolute best friend in the whole world, not to be a suckup or anything. My first year getting to know her, she HATED me. And when I say hate, I mean ABSOLUTE LOATHING!!! After that, in eighth grade, we became good friends. And up to now, we've been best friends.
Oh, I almost forgot. Another thing we've done is help each other through our pretty harsh lives. Between family matters, school stress, being left out of the "in" crowd, we've stuck by each other through thick and thin. I never would've expected that someone could care about me. She replaces all of my family members that don't give a s**t and a half about me when I'm depressed, and nowadays, I'm like that at least three times a week. She even said that I saved her once when I logged on, and that our staying friends could've been on the line. I won't tell you why, 'cuz that would be telling you things that YOU don't need to know. It's been the same for me; she actually saved my life. I couldn't take the pain anymore; I had faced another heartbreak, my family all showed that they hated who I was, my will to live was completely drained. I was about to end it all. Then she talked me out of it. Without her, I'd most likely be dead. I can never thank her enough for all she's done for me. Great, I'm getting all emotional talking about it!
Crissy, if you're reading this, I just want to say thank you. For being my best friend, my sister...and my hero. (Note: I'm not saying this in a gay way, for the millionth time!)
