Flink overslept, again. >.< So she kind of missed her whole day of classes. (She only had two hours.) However, she'll work on her project at home or something. Well, she would, if she could find her thumb drive. XD
Also, Flink decided to get dressed, put on some makeup and all that stuff so her mom wouldn't be all, "AHA! You skipped again to play video games." Besides, when Flink skips it's not to play video games or get on the internet. It's to sleep!
Flink has also decided she really needs to lose weight, mainly so she'll be able to find clothes easier, so starting January she'll be joining Weight Watchers. And just so you know, this isn't a resolution. Flink resolution is and always will be, until she actually does it, to fly. And she doesn't mean that sissy flying either. Flink means actual flying. Like falling and missing the ground. -nods sagely- But yes, start January Flink will be on a quest to get healthy! WHOO! She'll probably post updates and such on it here. Unless she's scared to post about her not losing anything. The main thing she doesn't want to do is go in, and let a bunch of people know how much she weighs. So she's totally doing it in a city other than the one she lives in. Yay for places no one knows you!
Back to Flink's project. It's for Cold Fusion, which basically NO place uses anymore, since it costs so much and you apparently need a special server or some carp like that. Flink's current problem is that even if she DOES do all the stuff the teacher has on the paper she'll only make 70%. Which is, in her school, just passing. And the sad thing is she doesn't need a majority of those things. However, she has figured out how to get a fake login on her page and how to make it look... authentic.
Flink's going to make it where people can "sign-up" which will in turn add an entry into her database, think Access, which will include their first and last name with all vowels and spaces removed and with a number added at the end, for no repeats since that'll be the primary key. Then, the password will be whatever their screen name is backwards. And since this'll all be in the database, well... it'll be able to tell them if they're not in there or not and ask them to sign up. In the one she wanted us to do originally, for basic points, they just type in a name and password and it shows the name and password on another page.
And Flink also wants to have it where the homepage of Totally Sweet, her project, tells the person welcome and fun stuff like that. However, Flink really can't show it to anyone since the place her website is hosted doesn't support Cold Fusion, remember it costs extra. But still, it's a fun idea to play with.
Flink has also decided that she's going to redo her profile design during the Christmas holidays, which for her start on the 20th. So, if anytime after the 20th you see her profile looking wonky or as the "OMG!CONSTRUCTION" thing she had earlier this year with just the comments, you know what's going down.
