Old habits
One morning, after an unusually warm day after the weeks of dropping temperatures, Koopa was relaxing in her own home. No one was with her, except for the monkey she brought home that one night Noxtea chased her to Tina's house. The monkey was named Cecil by Zapook, who seems to like having him around. Cecil running around the house with the small chick, Fluffles, clinging to his back. Koopling was napping on the couch, and Wolven was curled up next to her, also asleep.
Koopa had almost healed completely and was practically back to normal. Her mind stopped worrying about healing and was back to thinking only of...
"Food...Food...no food. CAN'T FIND ANYTHING IN THIS GOD DAMN HOUSE!" She yells as she searches her kitchen. "...Aight. I know exactly what to do. Everyone get up. We're going to Tina's."
After the 'raid' on Tina's place, Koopa took a walk. One that took her down a forest path. Her noise twitched in the evening air as it caught a familiar scent. Out of nowhere, she's tackled to the ground by a smaller girl with red hair, a round red nose, and was a cross between a wolf and a cat. They tumbled on the ground ending with them shared laugh and hugging session.
Koopa, almost squealing, yelled, 'Hi Tommy!' as the two of them continued hugging.
They both spent a few minutes walking along the trail, talking with each other until Tommy stated a suggustion to help kill boredum.
"You think we can go on another hunt? Like we did before?"
Koopa stared at her, suprised, before looking down at the ground sadly, "You know...I promised no more town raids to Tina and Seph."
"Come on...please?"
"Um...well...oh what the hell."
Koopa morphed into her beast form, a large red and black tiger, while Tommy turned into a puppy version of herself. Leaving a blazing trail of fire behind them, the two of them took off toward the nearest town......which was almost completely burned down two hours later.
Laughing and chattering away, they returned to Tina's house. Tina was already waiting on the door step, leaning against the door and looking up at the night sky.
As they approached, Tina folded her arms and started growling.
Koopa chuckled nervously, "Hehe.....Hey Tina. How are-"
Tina growled angrily, "Look here. I know what you two have been up to."
"...Wha?"
Tommy tried to speak up, but Tina yells, "YOU BOTH CARRY THE STENCH OF BLOOD AND SMOKE!"
Koopa clears her throat, "You think you can save the lecture until our guest leaves?"
Tina bows and sighs, "I agree." She turned to Tommy, and smiled. "Welcome. I am Tina Pyra, sister of your friend here."
Tommy says with in a low voice. "I'm sorry if I got mom in trouble. It was my idea to go to that town and everything...."
Tina nodded and started to head into the house, "What's done is done love. Now why don-" Tina whirled around staring wide eyed at Tommy, "Mom?! She's your mother?!" She turned toward Koopa, "You're a mother!?"
Koopa sighed, "Will you just calm it down? I adopted her a while back."
Tina ran up to Koopa, "How did you adobt a child!? Who in Aslan's name would give you a daughter!?"
".....That hurts Tina."
"You know...I could just go if you need me too..." Tommy said as she started to back away.
"No no no! Tommy! No!" Koopa hugs the young cat girl. "I'm sorry... We can go back to my place. Ok? Make some ham ramen." Tommy nodded and hugged Koopa back tightly.
Tina watched Koopa and Tommy, then held her head as she said, "Forgive me. You are welcomed here....Tommy was it? Come. I'll even prepare a room for you incase you wish to spend the night."
Around twelve at night, everyone in the house were either tucked away in bed, or snoozing away on a couch. Everyone except Tina, Koopa, and a sleep walking monkey.
Cecil passed through the lounge room, nearly running into Tina, who was sitting on the floor next to Koopa.
She pointed toward the primate, "And he does this every night?"
"Yep." Koopa nodded, "Almost everynight anyway. Another thing I noticed? Koopling's been putting on weight. She like the supermodel of us all, so I think she might be sick or somethin."
Tina turned toward Koopa, her voice a little sterner. "Listen here, we have enough trouble with slayers and hunters. Don't you agree."
"Well...Yeah. I mean..yeah."
"So why encourage more to come after us by causing havoc in towns and villages around Gaia?"
"I can't help it! Ok? I'm a ******** demon! Give me a brake!"
"Still does not excuse your actions."
"Please...I don't wanna hear this crap right now."
"If you weren't so aggressive, you'd probably live a longer life!"
"And if you weren't such a tyrant, I wouldn't have to look to genocide to have fun!"
"That is why you can't keep friends for long!"
"And that is why people walk all over you!"
"That is why you can't get a boy f-"
Tina's sentence was cut short by Koopa grabbing her by the neck. "Finish that senctence....and I guarentee I will snap your freakin neck."
