Well I haven't really been keeping up with this journal, so I guess since it's a new year I'll make it a resolution to update this thing >< firstly, Happy Chinese New Year! I've got my work cut out for me, as both of my major classes are well into our projects. For my Rendering and Perspective class I'm designing a beverage label. I've chosen to do a super sugar filled Japanese children's drink. Age range seven to twelve. I'm still trying to think up the way the mascot on the drink will look, but I've got a few sketches. We'll see how it turns out xd For the Graphic Design class I'm designing four snowboard designs. In honor of The Year of the Rooster, the chinese New Year is my theme for all four snowboards. I'm just now tracing over my first sketch in Illustrator CS, doing initial coloring in there, then taking it to Photoshop to clean it up. I want it to look kind of like a comic book. True, I haven't seen many comic book-like designs on snowboards, but I've always tried to be unique ^^ Anyways, I hope it turns out well. Other classes? uh... yeah... I just need to pass them. It's my major class that an employer will look at when I graduate *lol* well, that's what my advisor says anyways. Happy year of the rooster. heart
