Hearts hurt, hearts yearn
Our stomachs toss and turn
Running as far as we can
To a long abandoned land
Where all is quiet and all is calm
The whole world would sit in your palm
You choose on what to do
Your future depends on you
What you see and what you touch
Doesn't matter all that much
We can sing, we can dance
And run into the distance
Holding hands
Making plans
Though our lives would be so different
At least we know we weren't inconsistent
In our lies and our love
Once we're sent up above
We'll be together
Now, and forever
