Unpredictable
I see people on the news, the ones in the car accidents, laying motionless. Mom ignores it, but I stare, thinking one day that might be me.
I am not normal, for everytime I lie down in my bed, I close my eyes wondering if I'll wake up tommorrow.
People who die usually dont see it coming. I don't want to be one of them.
Every day I take a risk, I stand there thinking, "This could be my death day."
Every time I'm in the car, I look around for people who might crash into us.
Life is unpredictable....even more so is death.
Anyone can die at any time. Even as I type this, I suspect that my heart will take its final beat.....
Selfishness
Look at the world around us. Several times over and over, we are told that our own kind is destroying the Earth. Yet....we do nothing to stop it. No one does.
Do we want to? No. That would mean losing all technology. We are too selfish to do so.
We want to keep everything.
We do not want to save the world if it takes our luxury from us.
Thats the way humans are.
In the end, it's our own selfishness and greed that will bring us to doom.
