"Why does Lady Xangord not recognize me?"
"Maybe because you're a whining idiot that shouldn't be alive," I groaned sitting up. Putting my head in my hands I leaned over the edge of the table.
"Xangord's side effects is temporary amnesia," someone said. "And Nogard's side effects...well...we should probably restrain her for 72 hours. She's going to get a lot worse before she gets better."
"No one will be putting restraints on me, Holly-dear," I said, looking at the girl from the corner of my eye. "Anyone who so much as tries will be torn apart."
"It's for your own good, Nogard," Holly said, approaching me cautiously.
Lashing out, I grabbed the girl by the neck and pulled her towards me until her face was inches from my own. Quietly, I growled, "No. You just want to turn me into a goody two shoes again. It's not going to happen this time. I'm not scared of you."
"It's not Lady Holly you should be worried about," Lord Avondale said.
Throwing Holly at Rose, I leapt off the table to size up Lord Avondale. "You're no match for me, old timer. I'm stronger than you'll ever be."
"We shall see," Lord Avondale said, rushing forward.
Easily side stepping him, I grabbed Lord Avondale by his cape, spun him around, and threw him into Shalimar and Wynn.
Looking about, I saw a feeble old man surrounded by a couple of gwees and some cats. Lifting an eyebrow and grinning sadistically, I said "Oh look. LUNCH!"
