"YOU TWO! AGAIN! YOU WERE LATE AGAIN!!"

"But, Dad-- I mean, Professor, it wasn't our fault! If I just had my broom--"

"I don't want to hear it, Tepeu! I told you not to be late again!" Snape said.

"Professor, please, if she had just had her broom..."

"Quiet, Gore! You were late too! And take those glasses off-- they're not part of the uniform."

Gore shut his mouth, took off his sunglasses, and stuffed them into his robes.

"Now listen, both of you," Snape said, leaning across his desk towards the two students. "Not having a broom is no excuse for being late. You should have been at Platform 9 3/4 on time to catch the train. As it is, Tepeu, you're lucky to have a friend who can fly. However, you lose your broom privelages for another week."

"But Quidditch practice starts tomorrow!"

"I don't want to hear it! Now straight to your dorms! Both of you. NOW!"

The two students left Snape's office, grumbling about missing the feast. Gore put his sunglasses back on.

A note about Tepeu:
Yes, she is Snape's daughter. She was originally supposed to be his adopted daughter, but now she's just his daughter. Her mum, er, died, I guess, which is why you never hear about Snape being married. Heh.
