-Inkii dashed down the long grand hallway to her Grandfather’s office, she knew running wasn’t permitted but she didn’t care. Her Grandfather didn’t yell or punish her for it so she didn’t care as long as her parents weren’t around, they wouldn’t find out. She entered the office a smile on her face, this was her weekend with her Grandfather something he arranged with her parents he’d flyer her to England to bee with him for the weekend then fly her back to Washington, easy enough. Her grandfather sat behind the desk as usual a large pile of papers where spread out in front of him.
-“Hello Grandfather.” Her eight year old voice mustered cheerfully.
-Her Grandfather looked up from his papers and smiled that sickening smile at her. “Hello, my child did you enjoy the flight over?” he asked with a grin.
-“Yah, the lady on the plane gave me a new teddy for my collection.” She said happily.
-“Well that was nice of her.” Her Grandfather said stretching in his seat.
-Inkii nodded. “So what’cha doin’?” she asked leaning over to see a stock chart that had some of them circled in red.
-“I am guarantying your future, Inkii.” He said standing up. “Now why don’t you run along and go play with your cousins for the moment, then we can continue with your lessons.” He said urging her out of his office.
-“All right Grandfather.” Inkii said before scurrying off down the hall.
