Strange how time reveals itself
So differently to you and I
How mornings dawn erases
The pain of a night just gone by
How one man's minute is filled with laughter
While another suffers pain
How one man see what he has lost
While another sees what's left to gain
How the tears of a child
Quickly becomes the tears of a dying man
Who has lived life to its fullest
And is now making his final stand
HOw time can alter and bring out
What's inside of you
How it can heal wounds of the heart
And give it hopes of new
How day by day
The miracles of my God never cease
How, in the end
No matter how spent
Time has too short a lease.
