The headmover of water spoke his speech like he had done before, but this time more people had gathered, that was clear to see. Vairen was amazed that there were so many people in the city. He ha never seen them all together like that and the children weren't even there. He listened to what the mover said. "As you all probably know there is a little inconvenience." Something on Vairen's body started to heat up a bit, it ws nice and warm. "This inconvenience has to do with a person we all loved with all our hearts." The warm spot on his body didn't fall under the category warm anymore, figured Vairen, but he let it go. It would probably be over soon. "Our beloved holdster of the anima of water has diseased." The medallion Vairen had was practically burning his skin. He swiftly grabbed it trying not to scream, but silent outings of pain still came from his mouth. Luckily the people in front of him hadn't heared him. Maybe it was because of all the hair on their head? It was seriously all over the place! Is what Vairen thought.
Vairen looked at the medallion. One of the petals of the engraved flower started to fade as Vairen heared a voice in his head that he immediately recognised. It was the voice of somebody that he hadn't heared long ago. The headmover spoke to him. "Vairen, if you hear this run away, run away fast. Run and don't come back until you've mastered it." The voice stopped talking. Vairen was scared to the fullest extent.
When the boy looked up at the headmover again he was pale. He heared what the headmover said. The panicing voice he had just heared him speak in was so much different from his usual calm voice. "Luckily the reincarnation of the anima has gone further as always. I am also very happy to announce to you all that my searching teams have already found the person himself and know his name. Some of you here might be shocked knowing the name and thus age of the new anima holder, but I'm certain that he's already underway to get much training from the hermit on the beautiful mountain on the other side of the continent like all the others have." Vairen understood what was going on and walked away from the crowd slowly so he wouldn't attract any attention.
When he was far away enough he started running towards the gate of the city. He heared so much about the gate, but he had never been there. He heared the last words of the speech ringing through the streets. "The name of the new anima's holder is" Vairen ran as fast as he could, but he tried running even faster. He didn't want to hear the name that was about to come. The rocks of the street started to push up against his feet. He looked at the gloves on his hands and realised that it was his destiny. His father told him much about destiny, there were so many interesting theories about it, but Vairen didn't like any of them, he wanted to create his own future like so many others. Vairen entered another street and heared the name being called. "Vairen." It was dead quiet for some seconds after that announcement, but then loud noises of disbelief and anger sounded, various conversations about him being too young wafted around. But Vairen didn't care. He was almost out of the city.
