I participated as well as I could in this, and although some might say I didn't do a good job, if they knew me, they would know I would've done a very good job, especially considering I didn't say a word in a class in which I'm always making little sounds in.
Secondly... After P.E., while going through the commons with a friend of mine, he started lightly whipping my arm with his shirt, and I stopped him. He did it one more time after I let it go, and we both walked on a bit further.
One of the monitors overlooking the halls stopped us and called us over to her, and looked at my friend, asking him if the though he had done anything wrong, and after he said answered, "No", she had told him to sit down. She then turned and asked me the same question, and I shook my head. She asked me why I wasn't speaking and I showed her a piece of paper in which I copied the notification that I was participating in the Day of Silence, and said something along the lines of, "The school is sponsoring a Day of Silence", before quickly handing me back the paper, it looking as though she had merely skimmed the title.
Afterwards, she walked off, saying, "Let's see how much Mr. Ross thinks of your Day of Silence", Mr. Ross being one of the APs at my school. After a while the tardy bell rang, and after a minute or two the school principle walked over, talking to a teacher about something. The lady came back, with some pieces of paper after the speakers announced a Hall Sweep, and anyone in the halls to come to the Commons for assignment of Saturday Detention. After the Principle came over to talk to the monitor, the monitor told her of the piece of paper and of the 'Day of Silence'.
The Principle came over to me after my friend had been send to the Office nearby for a punishment of some kind being assigned to him, and the Principle had me stand up and asked for the paper, I showed it to her and she shook her head, before giving it back to me hastily, as if she barely read the title. She then said, "The school isn't sponsoring a Day of Silence. The District hasn't told us of any such thing. Now tell me what happened." I reached into my pocket and she started to speak again. "Would you like to go home?" I shook my head. "Would you like me to go call your dad?" I shook my head again after having removed my hand from my pocket. She continued to speak, "I can call your dad so he can come pick you up, or you can tell me what happened. Which is it, district? Or do I need to call your dad?" I sighed in defeat and said, "District", very lowly, as if it had been taboo. She spoke again, repeating the question, and stopped abruptly, as if just registering my answer.
She then told me to tell her what happened, and I did hurriedly, and her expression was still slightly cold. After a bit, she left and the monitor told me that she thought well of me for doing something like I was. I got a pass and went on to class.

Thoughts of the Mind
I feel ancient, even though in youth... I'm an absent-minded goof sometimes, and I tend to easily go between moods. I'm good at math, science, and ironically remembering school-related items, forsaking my aloof mind. The main thing you'll find in my
